  • Start Date 16 Jun 2013
  • Completion Date 01 May 2014

Project Facts:

  • The project consisted of one of the longest crossings ever undertaken by STCC. This particular crossing presented significant challenges, given its length of 476.9 linear meters and the necessity to pass beneath various underground utilities, main streets, and obstacles to connect the main reservoirs to the network within the NWC area. The crossing length reached the maximum design capacity of the machine.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Provided a suitable team of well-experienced staff.
  • Project data thoroughly studied by STCC team, including but not limited to soil investigation report, and then supply the necessary ancillaries such as sufficient inter jack station.
  • STCC assigned a special guidance system to safely execute long crossing (Hydrostatic Water Level (HWL)).
  • Worked nonstop 24hours/7 days.
