Being among the first companies in the Kingdom to build trenchless technology businesses, we are incredibly proud of the remarkable growth and continuous advancement that have been made possible by perseverance and sound planning.
The plan was to launch a tunneling business at the start of the twenty-first century in order to meet Saudi Arabia's expanding need for tunneling services. In September 2008, the goal came true as a tunneling firm was founded in Jeddah.
We founded Saudi Tunneling Company for Contracting (STCC) as a stand-alone organization in January 2016 after more than ten years of demonstrated success and a solid track record in the tunneling industry. Through the use of cutting-edge microtunneling, horizontal directional drilling, open-face methods, and shaft works throughout KSA, it has evolved into one of the most proficient and varied producers of trenchless works today.
As we look to the future, we want to make investments in cutting-edge machinery and technology, such as Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), so that STCC may operate in the utility and traffic tunneling fields and build large tunnels for both car and metro systems.
