Pipe-jacking (Open-face) technology is a construction method used for the crossing of obstacles found along the pipeline route. PJ technique is for installing men-entry size of pipes (generally 1000mm in diameter and above), through a tunnel excavated by a tunneling shield in which labors are working by means of proper hand-held tools or special excavators.
